BRASÍLIA

Brasilia is a charming city with surprising architecture. It is considered a Cultural Human Heritage by Unesco with the largest green area per inhabitant of the world. The new capital of rail was built in less than 04 years by presidents Jucelino Kubischeck effort to modernize and develop the countryside of Brazil. Even though the city is only 60 years old, the metropolitan areas consist of more than 2 million people with a unique characteristic of being from all regions of the country and the world due to the large presence of diplomatic representations and International Organizations.

Brasilia is located on a plateau of 1000m of altitude covered with a boom called cerrado wish is the second biggest after the rainforest ecosystem in the country. The Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park offers hundreds of hiking trails and waterfalls during the whole year.

GOIÂNIA

It is the second-largest city in the Central-Western Region and the 11th-largest in the country. Its metropolitan area has a population of 2,527,092, making it the 11th-largest in Brazil. With an area of approximately 739 square kilometres (285 square miles), it has a continuous geography, with few hills and lowlands, with flat lands in most of its territory. 

Goiânia has its origins as a planned city, founded on October 24, 1933 by then Governor Pedro Ludovico to serve as the new state capital and administrative center. Before this, the state capital was the town of Goiás.

It is the second most populous city in Brazil's Midwest, only surpassed by the country's capital Brasília. It is an important economic hub of the region and is considered a strategic center for such areas as industry, medicine, fashion and agriculture.

PALMAS

Palmas is located at the state geographic centre at an average altitude of 230 m (755 ft). The city is located between hills and the Tocantins River. Palmas has a metropolitan area with 471,639 inhabitants and was founded in 1990 and developed from the ground up in a former agricultural area as the capital of the newest Brazilian state - Tocantins.

 The city has a well-designed road system, and its urban zoning is modeled on that of Brasília, the capital. In Palmas a symmetrical park was developed at the city centre. 

The region is a destination for adventure tourism and ecotourism, with the main attractions in Mateiros, Novo Acordo, Ponte Alta and São Félix. The dunes of fine orange sand reach 40 metres (130 ft) in height. The Cachoeira da Velha, a horseshoe-shaped waterfall 100 metres (330 ft) wide and 15 metres (49 ft) high.
